Francesco Ripanti presented “Abandonment doesn’t mean lost forever”: archaeology for wellbeing in the Xeros River Valley in Larnaka with Giorgos Papantoniou (Trinity College Dublin) and Athanasios Vionis (University of Cyprus). The presentation focuses on the archaeology-based wellbeing interventions focusing on the topic of abandonment delivered within the LOGGIA programme ΑρχαιοΛογικά.

Why
Invited by Alicia Chrysostomou, the online conference was the first opportunity to present LOGGIA to colleagues running other MSCA projects and others interested in applying for the grant (about 20, online). The paper received specific questions on the topic of abandonment and the involvement of the Huntington’s community.
